3 teams to root for in Week 14 as the Raiders continue playoff push

Baltimore Ravens

The Monday Night Football matchup is a tough one to call for Raiders fans, as they currently have the same record as the Baltimore Ravens, who are taking on the Cleveland Browns. In this matchup, however, the smart play would actually be to root for the Ravens, as the hope is the Browns come back down to earth after their 9-3 start.

Remember, the Raiders have one of the three wins against the Browns this season, and if it came down to a tiebreaker, they would get in. The Browns right now are the No. 5 seed in the AFC, so they have some falling to do, but two losses, coupled with two Raiders wins, and they actually fall behind the Silver and Black.

Baltimore has Lamar Jackson back, and do have some easy sledding on the horizon in games against Jacksonville, Cincinnati, and the New York Giants after the Browns game. Cleveland still has to beat the Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the upset-minded Giants, so their path is a lot harder than Baltimore’s.
