AFC West Week 14 preview and predictions: Raiders clip Colts

Denver Broncos at Carolina Panthers

In a rematch of Super Bowl 50, a game where the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers, Matt Rhule and company play host to Drew Lock and the Broncos on Sunday. For the Broncos, they will be looking to build off a strong showing against Kansas City last week, a game they did lose, but played much better than expected.

Carolina was supposed to get star running back Christian McCaffrey back for this game, but it looks like he will be gone for at least this week. That leaves them very short-handed on that side of the ball, but they do have a very capable quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater, who should be able to make plays against this Denver defense.

While this one is going to be close throughout, I like Lock to make a mistake or two down the stretch to lose this game on the road. He has had a very up and down season so far in 2020, and questions are still out there as to whether or not he is the future in Denver.

Prediction: Carolina 21, Broncos 17
