AFC West Week 14 preview and predictions: Raiders clip Colts

Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off one of their most embarrassing losses in recent memory, as they were beaten in all facets of the game by the New England Patriots in Week 13. That game happened inside SoFi Stadium, which will be the site of this week’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, who are coming off a loss as well.

Two weeks ago, the Falcons dominated an AFC West opponent in the Las Vegas Raiders, putting 45 points on the Silver and Black. While I do not believe they will have that kind of success against Los Angeles in this one, they will go on the road and beat a Chargers team who will likely make some changes within the coaching staff next offseason.

Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert is having a fantastic season, and he is going to get his yards, as well as a few touchdown passes against this Falcons defense. In the end, the Falcons’ talent will prove to be too much for the Chargers, who have already been eliminated from playoff contention.

Prediction: Falcons 30, Chargers 28
