Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 bold predictions in Week 14

Josh Jacobs runs for 150 yards and two touchdowns

The Indianapolis Colts’ defense is one of the best in the NFL right now, and it’s a big reason they’re 8-4. The Colts are fifth in overall defense, sixth in rushing yardage allowed, eighth on passing yardage allowed, and third in scoring defense, even after giving up 45 points to the Titans and 34 to the Packers.

If there was ever a week for the Las Vegas offensive line to open holes for Josh Jacobs, this is certainly the week to do it. The way the Raiders will win this game walking away is if they keep the Colts offense off the field and run the ball down the throats of the Colts defense.

Currently, the Colts allow 3.8 yards per carrying, so theoretically, they could just run the ball the whole game and get first-downs all day without throwing a single pass. But we live in the reality, where the Colts have DeForest Buckner and Denico Autry playing at an elite level coming into this game.

This week, though, I see Las Vegas committing to the running game, and sticking with it. Josh Jacobs could run for two touchdowns and 150 yards, as the Silver and Black prove they are worth that playoff spot.
