The Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC West once again this weekend, and only the Las Vegas Raiders have a chance to make the playoffs as well.

The Kansas City Chiefs are once again the Kings of the AFC West, which was just a formality after beating the Las Vegas Raiders in their second meeting of the season. On Sunday, the Chiefs clinched with their victory over the Miami Dolphins, a team they could meet again when the AFC Playoffs roll around.

For the rest of the division, outside of the Raiders, their chances of making the playoffs are over, though the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers did win on Sunday Here is a more in-depth look into the week each team had as the Raiders were the lone AFC West team to lose on Sunday.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders need a win on Sunday to keep pace in the AFC Playoffs, as they took on the Indianapolis Colts, a team that was right ahead of them in the Wild Card race. The Raiders had the luxury of playing at home against the Colts, but it was clear from the jump that the Silver and Black defense would have no answer for the Indianapolis run game.

The worst-case scenario happened for the Raiders, as Johnathan Taylor and company ran all over the defense, as the Colts cruised to an easy victory. The terrible performance by the defense cost Paul Guenther his job, as he was relieved of his duties after the game.

For the Raiders, they now have to turn the page on a short week, as they take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night. They need a bunch of help to reach the playoffs, and as of now, it looks like another year on the outside looking in.
