Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: 2020 Week 15 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Wide Receivers

Henry Ruggs – Sit ‘Em

Henry Ruggs season has followed the old one step forward, two steps back model. Ruggs redeemed his early struggles against the Jets with a massive touchdown to win the game but had a quiet game against the Colts and was recently placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list so will miss this Thursday night matchup.

The Raiders’ offense is undoubtedly better with Ruggs on the field even when he is not catching passes so he will be missed on Thursday. Obviously, he is out, but hopefully, he can return for the Raiders’ next primetime matchup against the Dolphins.

Bryan Edwards – Sit ‘Em

Bryan Edwards is still not making any impact for the Raiders and though he may be in line to start with Henry Ruggs out, you can’t depend on him at this point in the season. Hopefully, he can come through with a solid performance to help the Raiders beat LA.

Hunter Renfrow – Sit ‘Em

Last week, we told you to sit Hunter Renfrow against the Colts unless you needed a flex with a solid floor that could get you close to double digit points. That is precisely what happened, as Renfrow had five catches for 38 yards, 8.8 points in PPR, but his day took a big hit when he fumbled in the fourth quarter.

We can expect more of the same as Renfrow continues to be a great target on third down and is the possession receiver in the lineup so plug him in only if you absolutely need to.

Nelson Agholor – Start ‘Em

Nelson Agholor had another great day for the Raiders as he put up five catches for 100 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. He is the high-volume wide receiver for the Raiders and is putting up the numbers to justify his place in your starting lineup.

In the previous matchup with the Chargers, Agholor had just two catches but they went for 55 yards and a touchdown. Expect a better performance as the Raiders should be able to throw the ball more with a close to healthy offensive line.
