The Las Vegas Raiders play host to the Los Angeles Chargers with their playoff hopes on the line. Here is our preview, and prediction of the matchup.

The Las Vegas Raiders have to win out to make the playoffs this season, something that appeared to be unnecessary a few weeks back. Since starting out 6-3, the Raiders have gone 1-3, falling to 7-6, and are in serious danger of missing out on the playoffs once again/

On Thursday, they can help their cause by beating division rival Los Angeles, and here is our preview and prediction of the Week 15 AFC West battle.

Game Preview

A primetime game against a division rival is always fun for the fan base, and they get to watch their team hopefully beat up on a division foe on national television. However, this week holds way too much importance to sit back and just enjoy, as a loss basically ends any chance the Raiders have of making the playoffs.

The Chargers go into this matchup fresh off a solid win against the Atlanta Falcons, one that showed them they could win games late. Justin Herbert is having a fantastic rookie season, showing he is a franchise quarterback and will be taking shots at a very depleted Raiders secondary in this one.

If the defense can step up, the Raiders should be able to win this one easily, but that is a big if at this point.
