Derek Carr must be on point for the Raiders

Oh, captain my captain! Well, this is an easy one to call, but one that rings ever so true. The only way the Raiders have a chance to win is if the captain leads them to glory, and he has been terrific for most of the 2020 season.

Carr has been a bright spot for the Raiders this year, but when the captain cannot steer the ship, everything falls apart rapidly. With the way the defense has been this year, Las Vegas will need to score early and often to pull out a win against this Chargers team.

Unless Carr can toss two to three, maybe even more touchdown passes, the playoff hopes of the Raiders will be doomed. Look for Carr to be the make or break factor on offense for Las Vegas, as he should be able to outduel the Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert Thursday.
