Raiders defensive line prospect: Marvin Wilson, Florida State

As we stated earlier, Maliek Collins was supposed to come in and be a leader for this Raiders defense, especially with Jon Gruden saying he would be an anchor on that side of the ball. Well, the Raiders have gotten absolutely nothing out of him, and while Maurice Hurst has played well in Year 3, the team still needs a ton of help upfront along the defensive line.

Next year, Las Vegas will be picking near the middle of the first round most likely, which means the top prospects at plenty of positions will be gone. That may not be the case when it comes to defensive tackle, as Marvin Wilson has been mocked anywhere from No. 12 to the bottom of the first round, and he would be an excellent addition in Vegas.

Wilson is a big body and can throw his weight around, but it is his athleticism that is really going to stand out during the pre-draft workouts. He has a lightning-quick first step, can play behind the line, and teaming him with Hurst, to go along with Clelin Ferrell and Maxx Crosby on the edges, the Raiders would have a solid, young quartet upfront.
