Agholor has become the WR1 in Vegas and should continue to be

When it comes time for the 2021 offseason, the Raiders need to make Agholor a priority and should make extending him one of the first things they do. Not only did he prove that his drops issue was behind him, but he showed he can be the kind of playmaker down the field that this team has been lacking.

With Ruggs struggling a bit as a rookie, it is not easy to assume he is just going to come to camp and be the WR1 next season, so bringing Agholor back has to be a top priority. With Agholor and Ruggs on the outside and Hunter Renfrow in the slot, the Raiders have a solid top-3 at wide receiver to go along with an elite option at tight end in Darren Waller.

The Raiders defense is atrocious and must be addressed this offseason, so bring back Agholor to this offense checks off one of the few boxes they have and allows Mayock and Gruden to focus on the other side of the ball.

Agholor will be only 28 when the 2021 NFL season begins, so there is plenty of good football left in him. Sure, he had a couple of drops this season, but he became the most reliable wide receiver for Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota and needs to be a part of the plan moving forward in Las Vegas.
