Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs will represent the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2021 Pro Bowl, as the offensive tandem netted their first Pro Bowl selections.

The Las Vegas Raiders have once again seen a potential playoff season falter late in the year, as they have lost four of their last five games. Las Vegas will finish up the rest of the season at home against Miami, and then on the road against Denver, and still have the chance to finish with a record over .500.

Despite the rough end to the season, there is a lot to be excited about when it comes to the franchise, including their elite tight end and running back. On Monday, the 2021 Pro Bowl rosters were announced, and both Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs were named to the AFC’s team.

For Waller and Jacobs, this is the first of likely many Pro Bowls, and Waller could actually be named an All-Pro this season. The two are building blocks for the franchise moving forward, and they both are under contract for 2021 and beyond.

If the Raiders are to get back to the playoffs, Waller and Jacobs will play a major role.

Rodney Hudson once again snubbed for an honor

Rodney Hudson, widely considered the best center in the NFL, was once again snubbed for an honor, as he finished third in the Pro Bowl voting. Hudson has been one of the more elite offensive linemen in the league since donning the Silver and Black, and should definitely have been named to the 2021 Pro Bowl.

Las Vegas struggled on defense all season long, so it was no surprise when nobody from that side of the ball was named to the Pro Bowl. Heading into next season, the organization must once again try to revamp the defense, something they tried to do in free agency and the draft this past offseason.

Of course, there will be no physical Pro Bowl this season, but instead, the NFL and EA Sports are going to develop a virtual Pro Bowl where celebrities, NFL legends, and the current players in the league will play Madden NFL 21 with the current Pro Bowl rosters. For Waller and Jacobs, these are the likely first of many Pro Bowl selections.
