Raiders CB1 Trayvon Mullen
Trayvon Mullen has had an up and down season this year for the Las Vegas Raiders. There are some games where he looks like a shutdown corner that can match up with any receiver in the NFL, and there are others where he struggles to maintain coverage.
The most recent game he played against the Los Angeles Chargers was perhaps his worst of the season as he was flagged multiple times and gave up several big plays.

Mullen’s teammates have done him few favors this year, as he has seen a carousel at safety behind him and a poor pass rush in front of him, which has often left him on an island in coverage. Despite that, Mullen has six games this season where has allowed less than a 60% completion rate according to Pro Football Reference, and three games where he has allowed a passer rating lower than 40.
Much like Crosby, if the Raiders improve the pass rush, Mullen should be able to put together a better season and try to force his way into the Pro Bowl conversation. He faces some stiff competition from the likes of Xavien Howard and Tre’Davious White, but if he can get close to their level, then we can definitely expect a Pro Bowl selection in Mullen’s future which is still very bright.
