Possible ‘One And Done’ players for 2020 Las Vegas Raiders
Devontae Booker, backup running back
Surprising everyone at training camp, Devontae Booker emerged as the primary backup at his position ahead of veteran Jalen Richard. Originally, Booker was signed to a one-year contract worth little over $1 million per Spotrac.
Booker was at one point getting plenty of touches, especially with Josh Jacobs dealing with injuries on and off. A true bargain, all things considered, he rushed for over 80 yards just once back in Week 10 against his old squad, the Denver Broncos.
While drafting a running back might not seem like a need, this season showed that the Raiders need a more well-rounded backup. Booker did average an impressive 4.8 yards per carry, but this was off 82 carries. It really does feel as though the Raiders can go either way with Booker this off-season, as they could draft a running back and potentially have a long-term contributor, or could see what they have with Booker after a full camp with them.
