The Las Vegas Raiders are still technically alive in the AFC Playoff race entering Week 16. Here are three things to watch in their matchup against Miami.

The Las Vegas Raiders’ playoff lives still have a pulse, albeit a faint one, and they can continue their improbable quest on Saturday against the Miami Dolphins. With a loss to the Fins, the Raiders will be eliminated from the playoffs, but if they can somehow win, they can sit back and hope the New York Giants can shock the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

With that said, here are three things to keep an eye on this Saturday against Miami.

Derek Carr has no injury designation

The Las Vegas Raiders looked to be heading into this game with Marcus Mariota under center, this after Derek Carr suffered a significant injury on Thursday night. However, as we inched closer to gametime, Carr was listed with no injury designation, which means he is good to go to start against Miami.

Carr and the Raiders are in must-win mode, and the noise coming out of the building all week was how much he wanted to be under center for this one. Throughout his NFL career, Carr has shown himself to be a gamer, and while some of Raider Nation would rather Mariota start, it will be No. 4 under center on Saturday.
