The Las Vegas Raiders went into Saturday night needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, and once again lost a heartbreaker.

The Las Vegas Raiders were still technically alive as they took the field on Saturday night to take on the Miami Dolphins. Of course, they needed to not only win that game but also in Week 17, while also getting help from the Baltimore Ravens and the Dolphins in terms of losing out.

During the game, the Raiders seemed to have taken care of business, playing surprisingly solid on the defensive side of the ball. However, as has been the case all season long, the Raiders could not play consistent football for four quarters, and in the end, they would wind up on the losing end of a 23-22 score.

Las Vegas will now turn their attention to Week 17, where they will try to end another disappointing season with a win against division rival Denver. After starting out 6-3, the Raiders have now lost five of their last six games, and are in danger of not even finishing with a .500 record in 2020.

Here is a recap of Saturday night’s game.
