The Las Vegas Raiders agonizingly lost to the Miami Dolphins and here are the studs and duds from the Week 16 defeat.

The Las Vegas Raiders looked to be on their way to their eighth win of the season on Saturday night, but fate and the same demons that have haunted them all season had other things in mind. The Raiders were not realistically in the playoff hunt but were not yet eliminated until Jason Sanders’ kick flew through the uprights at the end of the game.

This was a game that featured all of the usual Raiders’ demons that reared their ugly heads at different times throughout the season. Las Vegas struggled to score touchdowns in the red zone and down near the goal line and suspect clock management helped swing the game in Miami’s favor.

A defense that played well for most of the game against rookie Tua Tagovailoa suddenly fell apart when Ryan Fitzpatrick stepped in, and a combo of a busted coverage and an awful penalty finally sealed the deal. This game truly encapsulated everything that made the Raiders 2020 season the crazy ride it has been, and just like the rest of the year, there are plenty of studs and duds involved.

Here are the studs and duds from the heartbreaking Week 16 loss to the Miami Dolphins that ultimately ended any playoff hopes the Las Vegas Raiders still held on to, no matter how slim.
