It was another disappointing season for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020, and here are 3 resolutions as we enter the new year.

The Las Vegas Raiders will finish out their 2020 NFL season with a January game inside Mile High, as they take on their division rival Denver in Week 17. It has been another disappointing season for the Silver and Black, who have seen a solid start to the season finish with another year on the outside looking in at the playoffs.

There is a lot of work to be done next offseason, and here are three New Year’s resolutions for the Raiders in 2021:

Improve Jon Gruden’s game management

If there is one thing that has frustrated the majority of Raider Nation this year, it has been head coach Jon Gruden’s game management. Far too often, it looks like the Raiders are going to come away with the victory, only for Gruden to become way too conservative and let other teams creep back in.

Also, Gruden seems to shy away from his stars in big moments, targeting the likes of Jason Witten when you have Darren Waller on your football team. He often goes for short field goals instead of trying to get a touchdown, and with how bad the Raiders’ defense is, it just opens the other team up to extend leads.

If Las Vegas makes a jump in 2021, it will be because Gruden changes his in-game management in a big way.
