Raiders star Darren Waller sets a team record

The Las Vegas Raiders have an absolute star in Darren Waller, who came into town, put on the Silver and Black, and has been a beast ever since. Waller had shed his dark past to become a bright light in Las Vegas and is on the footstep of history as the team enters their Week 17 game against Denver.

Waller is only six receptions shy of tying former Raiders star wide receiver Tim Brown for the single-season record, as he has hauled in 98 passes this season. Waller has already passed the single-season record for tight ends, passing Todd Christensen‘s marks of 95 in 1986, and 92 in 1983.

Waller has been the best pick up of Jon Gruden’s second run with the team and is signed to a long-term deal. He has been a perfect fit with the Raiders, and on Sunday, he can set a record that many felt would never fall, catching his 105th pass of the 2020 campaign.
