The Las Vegas Raiders finished the year at 8-8 with their win against division rival Denver in Week 17 of the 2020 NFL season.

In a record-setting game for star tight end Darren Waller, the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Denver Broncos in Week 17, moving to 8-8 on the season. Las Vegas had to overcome a ton of turnovers in the second half, three in a five-play stretch, but was able to come away with their eight victory on the road.

Here is the recap from the win in Week 17.

Raiders get out to a 17-10 first half lead

Waller’s touchdown, his 102nd reception of the season, tied the game up at ten and put him only two behind Tim Brown for the Raiders single-season reception record. He would pass Brown later on in the game, adding another incredible feat to what has been a season that has put Waller into the conversation of being one of the top-two tight ends in the league.

Las Vegas’ got strong play from their defense in the second quarter, especially against the run, though the secondary, specifically Nevin Lawson, struggled. On offense, Carr looked to have his second touchdown pass of the game in the second quarter, but he underthrew Nelson Agholor, and while it hit him in the chest, he could not haul it in.

Carr would pick up his second touchdown pass late in the first half, hitting rookie Bryan Edwards on a beautiful throw-and-catch. That was Edwards’ first NFL touchdowns, and the hope is that when healthy, he can contribute in a big way next season.

Las Vegas took the halftime lead, 17-10.
