Should the Las Vegas Raiders sign a premier guard, or draft a prospect?

There’s plenty of talent at guard to be had…
The Raiders could in theory draft a guard and have him develop behind Good, assuming the team moves on from Incognito. Whether Incognito retires, or the Silver and Black move on, it will leave a huge hole. We already saw what happened to the run game without its leading mauler and Hudson taking a step back.
However, depending on which prospect’s drafted, the Raiders would be in solid shape once again.
It’s highly unlikely that Raiders brass would move Jackson, though there were a lot of rumors last year during draft season all the way up until draft day. If they do decide to draft an offensive guard, a prospect to watch is Wyatt Davis from Ohio State.
Davis is one of the most complete guards and NFL-ready prospects at his position. His 68.1 Pro Football Focus grade in the run game is certainly noteworthy, and at six-foot-four weighing in at 315 pounds, he’s got the size.
The Raiders need to re-establish their run game dominance with Jacobs entering his third season in 2021 and assuming the team finds a suitable backup running back.
