Bradley will expect discipline and knowledge

The Raiders’ defense is downright maddening at times, and this past season, it was once again one of the worst in football. The bland schemes and lack of pressure enabled quarterbacks to pick apart the Las Vegas secondary, which was beaten and bruised all season long.

In Bradley, they get a defensive coordinator who likes to mix things up when it comes to the pass rush, but mostly, he expects his front four to cause havoc. The Silver and Black have an elite young edge rusher in Maxx Crosby and did get better play from Clelin Ferrell this season, while help should be on the way for the defensive line via free agency and possibly the NFL Draft.

The main thing the Raiders are getting with Bradley is a coordinator with a proven track record and one who puts his players in a position to succeed. His scheme helps minimize the big play by expecting discipline and knowledge while allowing his skill players on that side of the ball to play fast.

There is a lot of untapped talent on the defense that Bradley should be able to get production out of in 2021.
