Alec Ingold is one of the more talented fullbacks in the NFL, and he is still an important part of this offense due to Jon Gruden’s 1990’s system that he has brought into the 21st century.  Ingold is a tough player and loves to play football, making him a fan favorite as well.

The fullback will make a couple catches here and there, and carried the ball a few times per game, but his run blocking is where he is most valuable. Tough as nails, Ingold was willing to play through a few broken ribs this year which has to be one of the hardest things to do at his position since all he really does out on the field is hit or get hit.

In addition, his most important role on this team could be his friendship with Josh Jacobs.  Ingold and Jacobs walk the field together before every game, and Ingold is Jacobs’ protector, so hopefully, these two can play together for the Raiders their entire careers.
