Unfortunately, the Las Vegas Raiders are watching the playoffs at home, but the work to change that in 2021 is already underway. Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock can’t afford to have another year where they totally collapse in the second half, so this offseason is crucial.

The franchise has already made a move to hire Gus Bradley as the new defensive coordinator, so we’ll see if he can improve what has been a disastrous defense. But the organization as a whole needs to do a much better job evaluating talent on that side of the ball, and that will be tested in this year’s upcoming draft.

There isn’t a ton of elite talent in the areas the Raiders need, like pass rushers and safeties in the first round. With the pandemic seriously hampering their ability to evaluate prospects, this will be a real challenge.

I am not part of the Raiders front office, so I did not put any pressure on myself, and instead, used the Draft Network Mock Draft Machine to make my selections. The draft is heavy on the defense and has many prospects ready to contribute right away.

So here is our latest Las Vegas Raiders’ mock draft.
