Just make Ndamukong Suh a Raider already
Ndamukong Suh is one of the most notorious NFL players of this past decade. Notoriety as a dirty player aside, Suh has also been of the best defensive tackles in that span. His accolades speak for themselves, a three-time All-Pro and a five-time Pro Bowler.
Despite being 34, Suh has shown he’s still effective as both a run defender and pass rusher.
Per Pro Football Reference, in 48 regular-season games these past three seasons, Suh hasn’t lost much in his step. He’s racked up 70 total pressures, 13 sacks, and 20 tackles for a loss in that span. No one on the Raiders has come close to that level of production from the defensive tackle position.
Suh’s style of ruthless play is very reminiscent of another Raiders legend, Lyle Alzado, a player that had little regard for his opponents.

Raiders brass really can’t go wrong with any of these three players. Each has its downside, such as Suh’s age and Rankins’ health, but both are still clearly capable of producing, especially Suh. Depending on how management restructures their roster, the team could certainly afford to pick up at least one of these veterans.
