Staying with the defensive side of the ball, the Las Vegas Raiders continue to build up that unit with their fourth-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft. The secondary for the Raiders has long been an issue, and despite the fact they have used plenty of high picks on that group, they still continue to struggle.

Over the past two drafts, Mayock has used two first-round picks, and a second on the defensive backfield, bringing in the likes of Damon Arnette and Trayvon Mullen at cornerback, and Johnathan Abram at safety. However, they were still burnt way too often last season, and with pick No. 121 in this mock, they add a talented safety to play alongside Abram in Ar’Darius Washington from TCU.

Washington is a player who fits what Gus Bradley likes to do well, and would be an excellent complement to Abram, who was really playing his rookie season last year. He is a guy who can go up and highpoint the ball, has no issues coming up and making a tackle and would give this safety room much more depth, and youth moving forward.
