Janarius Robinson from Florida State could help improve the pass rush

The Las Vegas Raiders once again struggled to get after the quarterback this past season, and changes are going to have to be made upfront along the defensive line. Second-year players Clelin Ferrell and Maxx Crosby played well, with Ferrell improving mightily over his rookie season, and Crosby notching seven sacks, which was one-third of the team’s total.

Looking at the 2021 NFL Draft, they will likely test the defensive end waters again, this after selecting both Ferrell and Crosby in the 2019 draft, with Ferrell going No. 4 overall. Watching the action all week in Mobile, Florida State edge rusher Janarius Robinson certainly passed the eye test, as he stands 6-foot-5 inches tall, and weighs 266 pounds.

Robinson showed out against the best in the country on Saturday, racking up five tackles, including one solo, which also registering 1.5 sacks. A former four-star recruit, Robinson was a constant for the Seminoles, posting over 100 tackles for his career, and is a guy who is not only adept at setting the edge but also is strong against the run.
