The Las Vegas Raiders franchise has not played in a Super Bowl since the 2002 NFL season, a game that saw them get blown out by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs were led by former, and current Raiders head coach Jon Gruden, who used his knowledge of the team to help Tampa Bay win easily.

This year, the Raiders will be watching the big game from their couch once again and will have to see those Buccaneers play against a division rival in Patrick Mahomes. A Tom Brady vs. Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl may be great for the NFL, but it is nightmare fuel for Raider Nation, who will either see Brady win his seventh title, or Mahomes go back-to-back.

When thinking of these two NFL teams, one can only think back at some players who left the Silver and Black and finished their careers there. Players are traded all the time and sign with rivals in free agency, but seeing these two players put on another uniform was downright painful to see.

These two players were legends in the Silver and Black, and seeing these two teams in Super Bowl LV brings back images that are burned into the memories of Raider Nation.
