More star power for the Raiders in Vegas

The Raiders play under the bright lights of Las Vegas, a town known for big-name performers, and all the glitz and glamor that comes from Sin City. For the past ten seasons, there has been no bigger defensive performer than Watt, the winner of three Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Not only is he a star off the field, but Watt is also very productive, finishing in the top-10 in the NFL in pass rush win rate last season. He brings a whole new dimension to this Raiders defense, and would definitely sell a few million jerseys in the process.

Watt is a star in every sense of the word, and he would certainly light up billboards up and down the strip in Vegas.

The odds are likely long that the Raiders end up getting Watt’s services, though Jon Gruden has not shied away from bringing in veterans in the past. For Las Vegas, the defense certainly needs a facelift heading into next season, so why not bring in a player like Watt, who should still have a few good years left in him.
