2021 NFL Draft: Las Vegas Raiders land elite LB in 7-round mock
By Brad Weiss
Landon Young could give the Raiders more depth at offensive tackle
The Raiders round out their 2021 NFL Draft by turning the focus to the offensive side of the ball, getting some more depth at offensive tackle upfront along the offensive line. The Raiders hit a home run by drafting Kolton Miller in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, as he had become a franchise left tackle, but there is still a lot of questions as to what they plan to do with Trent Brown this offseason.
The hope is that Brown is back with the team, and healthy, as he is one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL when he is not sitting on the bench hurt. Even if Brown does return, this team still needs some depth at the tackle spot and teaming a player like Landon Young from Kentucky in a group that includes Miller, Brown, and Brandon Parker gives the Raiders a solid four-man depth chart.
So there you have it, our latest 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft for the Las Vegas Raiders. Of course, as we move through the free agency period, and the roster starts taking shape before the April draft, we will know more in terms of positions of need. For now, these six players address a lot of the issues the Raiders have right now, and Gus Bradley would surely be happy with this haul.
