Las Vegas Raiders 2021 7-round Mock: Alabama helps retool Front 7
The Silver and Black must address their run game after it dropped off a bit in 2020. Fixing the offensive line’s interior and getting some explosive depth behind Josh Jacobs will help. Adding Kylin Hill in the fifth round could certainly make things interesting next year.
Though Hill was a non-factor last year at Mississippi State due to him opting out, his 2019 season showed great potential. He accumulated 1,350 rushing yards, ten touchdowns, and averaged 5.6 yards per carry in 13 games during that campaign.
Adding someone of Hill’s caliber would not only help lighten the load for Jacobs but would give the Raiders a viable receiving option out of the backfield.
People often glaze over seventh-round selections, but the Raiders have to make every pick count this year, and adding a wide receiver could be a nice way to cap off this draft. The team could lose out on Nelson Agholor in free agency, and they already confirmed that Tyrell Williams is out.
Picking up the six-foot-four Collins would add speed and the ability to stretch the field even further. Collins averaged 19.7 yards per reception back in 2019 and 16.6 the previous season.
Let’s hear your thoughts Raider Nation, would you have relied on these many Alabama picks?
