Las Vegas Raiders 2021 7-round Mock: Alabama helps retool Front 7
At pick No. 48 in the second round, the Raiders nab Barmore’s teammate, linebacker Dylan Moses. With Las Vegas possibly losing Nicholas Morrow to free agency, they could upgrade at the outside linebacker position with Moses. Remember, the Raiders got nothing out of Cory Littleton this past season, so linebacker continues to be a position of need.
Bradley’s defense will need linebackers that cover the field sideline to sideline and Moses has that ability. A true athletic freak that still has room to grow, Moses already has devastating tackling abilities, and if he is healthy, he is one of the top-4 linebackers in this entire draft class, and some predict him going in round one.
In his last two seasons at Alabama, Moses compiled 16 tackles for a loss, four and a half sacks, and two forced fumbles. When called upon, Moses would also serve a purpose in rushing opposing quarterbacks. His speed is impressive but so is his relentless pursuit which will pay dividends in the NFL. Drafting Barmore and Moses with their first two picks could give the Raiders an athletic and punishing front seven.
