Raiders poised to bounce back in 2021: Cory Littleton

Last offseason, linebacker Cory Littleton was the free agent crown jewel for the Las Vegas Raiders, coming to the franchise after dominating for the Los Angeles Rams. Unfortunately, like Lamarcus Joyner before him, Littleton just could not make it work with the Silver and Black and is someone who needs a big 2021 to stay a part of the Raiders’ future plans.

Luckily for him, a new defensive coordinator is coming in, as Gus Bradley takes over for Paul Guenther, a DC that Littleton just did not mesh with. Littleton and the rest of this Raiders defense struggled mightily under Guenther, so the hope is that a new DC can be just what they need moving forward.

You can expect the Raiders to continue to make moves at linebacker this offseason, possibly trying to land Kyle Van Noy, or utilizing a draft pick on the position group. Nicholas Morrow is expected to test free agency, so he could be gone, which means the Raiders are definitely going to need the Rams version of Littleton in 2021, and not the guy wearing No. 42 in Las Vegas this past season.
