Las Vegas Raiders: One draft prospect to target from each top-25 program
When Marco Wilson first touched the field as a true freshman in 2017, he looked like a player primed to be the next great Florida DB prospect. However, now in 2020, he has us wondering what happened as it seemed like he never grew from that season.
A torn ACL in 2018 may have stunted his growth, but when you watch him, the athleticism still appears to be there, and it’s more of the mental part of the game that has plateaued.
The physical talent is evident, though, and Wilson has the ability to play both on the outside and in the slot. Coaching will be big for Wilson, but if the Raiders can clean up his mental mistakes and keep every loose shoe away from him (yea, he’s that guy), he could be a legit steal on Day 3, and given how poor the Raiders have performed in the secondary, he is worth a flier in the later rounds.
