Las Vegas Raiders: One draft prospect to target from each top-25 program

It is crazy to learn that a football school like Texas has only produced four first or second-round prospects in the last decade, but that is where we’re at. That number will certainly go up this draft, with the Longhorns having two players who are projected to go early in 2021.

Among them is edge rusher Joseph Ossai, who moved to full-time pass-rusher in 2020 and didn’t look back.

Not a crazy athlete, but Ossai is very smooth with plenty enough athleticism to get the job done on Sundays, and having played off-ball linebacker, he moves very well in space.

He is a bit undersized, which shows when he faces tackles with strength, so we’ll need to add more play strength as he continues on. However, the natural ability to get to the pass rusher is evident, which is sorely lacking in Las Vegas.

He is not a perfect fit for a 4-3 scheme, but if the Raiders are looking at anyone from UT, it has to be Ossai.
