Las Vegas Raiders: One draft prospect to target from each top-25 program

808. . DL. Trojans . Jay Tufele. 21. player

At one point, Jay Tufele was getting the first-round buzz, but it seems like that has died down, which could be beneficial to the Raiders. This is a team that needs to do more than a few moves to bolster the defensive line this offseason, and if Tufele falls, they could end up with a steal in the later rounds.

Tufele didn’t play in 2020, so that hurt his stock a bit more, but he still has plenty of talent to be a penetrating 3-tech in the NFL. He is an agile and fluid mover at 305 pounds which goes well with his very high motor.

We’ve discussed multiple times how much the Raiders need to improve their interior pass rush, so players like Tufele should always be in consideration when the Raiders are on the clock. He is great for a 4-3 front, and in the third or fourth round could be a nice get for Gus Bradley’s defense.
