The Las Vegas Raiders enter into free agency with various glaring needs, and general manager Mike Mayock has stated that the team will be patient and address depth this year. As we look around the league, the free-agent pool is very deep and could yield rewarding results if the team makes calculated moves.

This is a franchise that has improved in its win totals in each of the last two seasons, going from a four-win season in 2018, to seven in 2019, and then eight in 2020. While the win totals have gone up, it has not been seen as a positive, as in both 2019 and 2020, the team collapsed towards the end of the season.

One issue the Raiders have had in recent offseasons is getting it right in free agency, as players have come over and really struggled in the Silver and Black. In 2021, Mayock has to make sure he does not miss in free agency, as this team is very close to being a playoff contender.

Close to home in the AFC West, the Raiders’ rivals have their share of players that will not be donning the same uniforms as the 2021 season begins, and here are some notable free agents the Raiders can steal this year.
