Raiders bring in more than one cornerback in this draft class

As you can see, we’re striking the secondary in this draft. After watching the Buccaneers take multiple swings year after year at improving their secondary, it paid off big time for them in their Super Bowl run.
Trayvon Mullen will take care of one side of the field, and possibly Damon Arnette will eventually find a better role in the slot, so that leaves the other side open. The Raiders got Greg Newsome II in the second round but getting someone like Benjamin St-Juste is too much value in the fifth round to pass up.
It doesn’t get much bigger at the cornerback position than St-Juste, who stands at 6 foot 3 with an 80-inch wingspan. The unreal length allows him to be a force at the line of scrimmage or cover a ton of ground in a zone.
St-Juste is not someone you want going against quicker smaller receivers because he simply can’t keep up with foot speed, but that should be expected. However, he did have a very nice showing in one on ones at the Senior Bowl.
