2021 NFL Draft: OTs to replace Trent Brown with Raiders No. 17 pick
By Brad Weiss
Raiders draft target: Teven Jenkins, Oklahoma State
Finally, we come to Teven Jenkins, a guy slated to go a little later than both Darrisaw and Slater, but also a guy who is being mocked as a first-round pick across multiple outlets. If the Raiders feel that Jenkins is their guy, they could actually move back a bit in the first round, possibly picking up some more draft capital along the way.
Jenkins is one of those players who just got better every season at Oklahoma State, as he redshirted his first year on campus, and then worked his way up to being an All-Big 12 selection this past season. He is older, as he is already 23-years old, and has a lot of experience at the collegiate level, something that is going to benefit him when he makes the jump to the NFL.
The Raiders selected Kolton Miller in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft without much fanfare, and a few years later, they need a first-round offensive tackle once again. The Miller pick certainly turned out to be a good one, and after losing so much talent along the offensive line already this offseason, if the Raiders do go OT at pick No. 17, they cannot afford to miss.
