2021 NFL Draft: OTs the Las Vegas Raiders could target in the second round

The Las Vegas Raiders have had one of the best offensive lines in the NFL in recent years when all five starters were healthy. Unfortunately for the Raiders, and especially for QB Derek Carr, that has rarely been the case in the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

The carousel along the offensive line was especially damaging in the 2020 season as two of the projected starters coming into the season missed significant time and LT Kolton Miller missed two games. RG Richie Incognito was out of the lineup after Week 2 and did not return despite some initial belief that he might. Incognito was recently released but reports suggest he might return on a cheaper deal.

RT Trent Brown was in and out of the lineup due to injury, COVID-19, and an error by team doctors where air was injected into his bloodstream. He played in just five games last season after playing in 11 in 2019 and he is on his way back to New England via trade so will need to be replaced.

That is where the draft comes in to play and what is looking to be a strong class at offensive tackle. It is widely believed that the Raiders will use their first-round pick on a defensive player so we will focus on prospects who may be available in the second round. Let’s dive in.
