. Defensive Tackle. Bulldogs . Milton Williams. 163. player. 2119

As the last two Super Bowl champions have displayed, you can never have too many defensive linemen, and the Raiders have had a shortage of talent there in recent years. So after adding Marlon Tuipulotu in round four, the Raiders will look to add another defensive lineman in the fifth round of the draft in Milton Williams.

Williams is a prospect that is rising up the draft boards after a strong junior season with the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs that saw him rack up 4.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss in 10 games. He is a bit on the leaner side as a defensive tackle at 6’4″, 278lbs but can grow into his frame or stay at that size and be a more versatile defender along with different positions on the defensive line.

The knocks on Williams are that he may not be a good enough athlete to be a consistent pass rusher but is a highly rated run defender and could be a great value for the Raiders as a fifth-round pick. Depending on the results of his pro day on March 18th he may not even last this long but if he does, he would be a great pickup this late in the draft.
