Linebacker. Eagles . Isaiah McDuffie. 248. player. 826.

The Raiders round out the draft with a linebacker selection in the seventh round by drafting Isaiah McDuffie from Boston College. McDuffie is a three-year starter that missed most of the 2019 season because of a knee injury but came back strong with a 2020 where he finished with 107 tackles, 3 sacks, and an interception in 11 games.

The former Eagle plays hard with a tremendous motor and is known for his excellent tackling ability and athleticism. He may be a bit undersized at 6’1″, 224lbs, and can get caught up on blocks but projects to be an immediate contributor on special teams and a solid backup linebacker.

The Raiders have two potentially great linebackers in Nick Kwiatkoski and Cory Littleton but both were outplayed by Nicholas Morrow who is currently a free agent though the team hopes to keep him in town. Adding McDuffie to the mix would give them another young linebacker and give some competition to players like Javin White and Tanner Muse who are still trying to make their names in the NFL.
