The Las Vegas Raiders are entering a crucial offseason, and here is a complete roster breakdown before free agency kicks off next week.

With free agency just a few days away, the NFL is about to look very different starting Wednesday, as the new league year begins. The Las Vegas Raiders will have an opportunity to start shopping for players who will help some of the problem areas on this roster, and there are certainly a lot of them.

The Raiders have made enough moves so far to clear over 40 million in contracts, giving them to sixth-most cap space in the NFL. This positions the Raiders are to potentially be major players in free agency this year however that hasn’t always gone well for them.

Looking at Carl Nassib’s contract last offseason, and even Marcus Mariota, it’s clear this front office needs to improve on some of their spending for players who were role players at best in 2020. They wasted money over the last two offseasons on players like Trent Brown, Tyrell Williams, Maliek Collins, and Lamarcus Joyner, so they cannot afford to swing and miss again in 2021.

Let’s take a look at the Raiders’ current roster, where some fat could still be trimmed, and what areas need help.
