Current Draft Picks
Over the last two years, the Raiders have had a ton of draft capital in the first round, holding three first-round picks in 2019, and then two more in 2020. Those picks led to the additions of Clelin Ferrell, Josh Jacobs, Johnathan Abram, Henry Ruggs III, and Damon Arnette, with only Jacobs really flourishing so far.
In 2021, Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden will have only one first-round pick, making this year even more important in terms of not missing on the selection. Sure, you can never afford to miss on a first-round pick, but with only one shot, the franchise cannot afford to get this one wrong.
Here is the current list of Raiders 2021 Draft Picks:
Round 1, Pick No. 17
Round 2, Pick No. 48
Round 3, Pick No. 79 (ARI)
Round 3, pick No. 80
Round 4, Pick No. 121
Round 5, Pick No. 162 (MIA)
Round 5, Pick No. 167 (SEA)
Holding the No. 17 overall pick, the Raiders could go a number of different ways, and we will see what their biggest need is by the time the free agency period wraps up. The first round will kick off on April 29, and the hope is the Silver and Black can get someone to come in and make an immediate impact.
As news, moves, and information continue to come down the pike, we will continue to add to this tracker. The Raiders have an opportunity to significantly improve this roster this offseason, and if they can finally get back to the playoffs, it will change a lot of the narrative surrounding this franchise.
