2021 Las Vegas Raiders offseason: Player movement tracker

Free Agency: Who’s Gone

The Raiders went into the 2021 offseason with a ton of free agents on their roster, 25 to be exact, a number that grew when they released both Gabe Jackson and Richie Incognito. While both of them could come back in a restructured contract, the reality is they may both have to be replaced, which is a tall order in any offseason.

Tyrell Williams, WR

The Raiders were not going to bring Tyrell Williams back for the contract he was owed, so it was no big shock when they released him earlier this month. He had some shining moments in the Silver and Black, and was a touchdown machine early on, but he struggled to stay healthy throughout his two seasons with the team.

Nelson Agholor, WR

Last year, the Raiders brought Nelson Agholor in on a prove-it deal, and he absolutely was well worth the money. However, that meant the Raiders would have to take out their checkbooks this offseason to bring him back, and while they were willing, the Patriots swooped in and he landed a huge $26 million payday.

Devontae Booker, RB

The New York Giants brought in Devontae Booker on Monday, as his one-year run in the Silver and Black came to an end. Booker was great in short spells for starter Josh Jacobs, and with him now in New York, the Raiders must now add a RB2 to their wish list.

Gabe Jackson, OG

Gabe Jackson was with the Raiders since being drafted in 2014, but with him expected to earn a big chunk of change this offseason, the team decided to go in another direction. For Jackson, he was a constant upfront for Derek Carr, and will certainly gain attention in free agency this offseason.

Erik Harris, S

Erik Harris was a feel-good story for the Raiders back in 2019, but after struggling in 2020, fans could not wait to show him the door. In all fairness, Harris is a great depth guy to have on your team, but him starting was detrimental to the defense. We do wish him the very best though.

Lamarcus Joyner, DB

Another failed free agency signing, Lamarcus Joyner will now head to the East Coast, signing a deal to play for the New York Jets. The Raiders never got the player we saw for the Los Angeles Rams, as he was played out of position, so maybe this is the best move for him.
