Las Vegas Raiders: Legal tampering has brought more questions than answers

The Las Vegas Raiders went into legal tampering with a bunch of money after clearing cap space, but it has brought more questions than answers.
Heading into Monday’s start of legal tampering, the Las Vegas Raiders had issues on defense that they needed to shore up. Sure, the loss of sixty percent of their Week 1 starting offensive line was a priority, but they still had Kolton Miller and Rodney Hudson returning, and many felt Richie Incognito would come back on a team-friendly deal.
However, after staying dormant on Monday for the most part, signing Donald Penn on a one-day contract to retire with the team, the Raiders seemed to strike gold. They got Yannick Ngakoue to sign a two-year deal with the team, bringing in an elite player at one of their biggest needs, upfront on the edge of their defensive line.
Heading into Tuesday, fans of the team were excited to get rolling, and after once again being dormant for most of the day, the Raiders dropped another bomb.
Raiders have more questions than answers
On Tuesday, the Raiders announced that they would be releasing Hudson, not only one of their best players on either side of the ball but an elite center in this league. After losing so much talent along the offensive line, the release of Hudson was a punch in the gut, and now the team has more holes to fill.
The two-day legal tampering window is supposed to get the team some answers, but in the Raiders case, it has only brought more questions. Sure, there is a lot of free-agent talent still available, but with how the last three years have gone in free agency since Gruden came back to the franchise, can the fan base really get excited.

Maybe there is a plan. Maybe Gruden and Mike Mayock will win Raider Nation over on Wednesday by bringing in talent at multiple positions of need. However, based on what we have seen, there is a lot to be worried about when it comes to this franchise, and we go into Wednesday with more questions than answers.
