Raiders FA fits on Day 2 of legal tampering

FS Anthony Harris

Staying in the secondary, the Raiders have to do something at the safety spot, and there are some good options available. While they missed on adding one on Day 1, Day 2 brings new life, and one name that really stands out is Anthony Harris, who would be a perfect fit opposite Johnathan Abram.

With Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert in the division, the Raiders have to improve on not only getting after the quarterback but defending against the pass when they do have time to throw. They accomplished the first part of the equation on Monday with Ngakoue coming aboard, and if they can add a talent like Harris, and a vet like Sherman, the group becomes instantly better heading into Wednesday.

Of course, this is the Raiders, whose biggest splash before the Ngakoue signing on Monday was bringing in Donald Penn on a one-day contract to retire with the franchise. Ngakoue was an outstanding signing, as he is young, and the money made sense, so let us see what Mayock and company have up their sleeves on Day 2.
