With all of the off-season moves the Raiders have made to the offensive line recently, they are going to have to draft an offensive lineman in the first three rounds. Trey Smith is another player who was represented at the Senior Bowl, and as a player that can play multiple positions on the offensive line, this pick would make sense for the Raiders.

At 6’4, 312 pounds, Smith is an explosive, aggressive interior lineman who can produce in both the run and pass game. Smith would not start right away for the Raiders, as they have brought back both Good and Incognito, as well as having John Simpson, but the Raiders do need a center as well as depth, so I would be surprised if the Raiders didn’t take a lineman in the third round.

Of course, all of this changes if Las Vegas doesn’t bring in a veteran to play right tackle opposite Kolton Miller. In fact, offensive tackle could be in the cards in the first round, as it is starting to look like one of the more gaping holes on this roster.
