Las Vegas Raiders: NFC West 2021 free agents to ‘steal’
Quinton Dunbar continues the theme of the day for the NFC West
We have yet another cornerback from the NFC West on the list in former Seattle Seahawk Quinton Dunbar. The Seahawks traded a fifth-round pick for his services from the Washington Football Team but he ran into some legal trouble that landed him on the Commissioner’s Exempt List in the offseason.
His eventful 2020 continued with some decent play when he was actually on the field but injuries kept him in and out of the lineup for the first 9 weeks before he was eventually placed on injured reserve. Dunbar just a year removed from having a Pro Bowl caliber season with Washington where he recorded 4 interceptions and an 87.6 grade from PFF.
This could be a situation where a player needs to rebuild his value and could do so in a situation in Las Vegas where the team is desperate for help at defensive back. Dunbar will be 29 before the season begins and could still be in line for another contract or two if he can prove he is back to being the dominant player he was in 2019.
