2021 NFL Draft: Day 2 cornerbacks the Las Vegas Raiders should target

The Las Vegas Raiders still have major issues on both sides of the ball, and they are still looking for answers at the cornerback spot.

Cornerback is a position in which the Las Vegas Raiders surely need to target, though they may want to avoid the position group in the first round. With numerous veteran cornerbacks still available, the Raiders have a chance to still make a splash in free agency, so that could change their approach heading into April’s 2021 NFL Draft.

Nevertheless, even if the Raiders add a veteran to the group, the Raiders still need to add some youth to the cornerback room. Looking at some of the prospects, some could be headed for the first round, like Patrick Surtain II, Caleb Farley, Jaycee Horn, and Greg Newsome II.

Outside of those four, there is still some quality talent at the position group, and guys that could come in and start for this Raiders team as rookies. Remember, they used a first-round pick on Damon Arnette last year, and the jury is still out, so adding more talent will either push him to be better or show the Raiders maybe he was the wrong pick.
