2021 NFL Draft: Las Vegas Raiders add elite LB in full first-round mock

CB. Dallas Cowboys. Patrick Surtain II. 10. player. 123.

The Dallas Cowboys could use help at a few defensive back positions, but cornerback is the one I believe they will address in the draft, as they will fix their safety issues in free agency. If Patrick Surtain II falls to the Cowboys, it should be an easy selection, especially considering the injury to Caleb Farley, the only other corner to contend with Surtain for the CB1 spot in the draft.

The Cowboys finally paid Dak Prescott, and they are solid on that side of the ball. If they want to win the NFC East this season, being better in the secondary is priority No. 1.

. Edge. New York Giants. Kwity Paye. 11. player. 31

This year’s draft is not a great one for edge rushers, as there is really no consensus DE1 coming out this season. In my opinion, Kwity Paye from the University of Michigan will get the edge over Gregory Rousseau because of Rousseau’s rawness, and the development he will likely need to make the transition into the NFL.

Paye has an impressive motor and great explosiveness, making him quick and powerful off the line and could make a big difference immediately in the New York Giants pass rush. The Giants’ defense was better than expected last season, and Paye can take them to another level.

player. 54. . CB. Philadelphia Eagles. Caleb Farley. 12

The Philadelphia Eagles have their issues on both sides of the ball, and with the franchise seemingly getting behind Jalen Hurts, they make a bold move by selecting a wide receiver here at No. 12 overall. The pick here is Rondale Moore, a guy who may be a bit on the small side in terms of height, but makes up for it with incredible athleticism.

Once again, the NFC East is going to be up for grabs, and by trading down, the Eagles are showing they feel good with Hurts under center in 2021 and possibly beyond.
